Governor’s Art Show Plein Air Festival and Auction

Don’t miss the Plein Art Festival and Auction Saturday, May 20 in Loveland, Colorado. This free family-friendly festival showcases 50 Colorado artists as they masterfully paint works of art open air and on location throughout Loveland, providing a unique opportunity to experience each piece as it is being created. Once complete the paintings will be auctioned off at the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. The Plein Art Festival and Auction is one of the most highly-attended events that is part of the 26th annual Governor’s Art Show and Sale - the largest juried art show to exclusively feature Colorado artists.

Artists will be painting in several locations throughout Loveland from 10:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

  • Downtown Loveland
  • Sweetheart City Winery
  • The outdoor space alongside the Rangeview Office Campus overlooking Houts Reservoir, Equalizer Lake in Centerra and High Plains Environmental Center
  • Main Plaza at The Promenade Shops at Centerra and Chapungu Sculpture Park

The Governor’s Art Show is presented by Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Clubs, directed by Pam Osborn and endorsed by the Governor of Colorado. All proceeds will benefit Rotary-sponsored charitable projects and causes, including scholarships for local art students. The Plein Air Festival is free, and exhibit admission to the Governor’s Art Show is $5, and free for museum members. Learn more at Governor's Art Show.
