Summer is right around the corner in Northern Colorado which means school is out and Loveland is serving up lots of communityevents and activities for families to enjoy. To help you fill up your calendar, we’ve compiled the best June events near Loveland and Ft. Collins homes, ranging from outdoor activities and meet up groups to fundraisers and community mingling events.
This year’s Paws on the Promenade has joined forces with the Larimer Humane Society to offer local northern Colorado residents and their pooches a great 5k run/walk experience through Chapungu Sculpture Park and the Promenade Shops at Centerra. Proceeds from this pet friendly event support the local Larimer Humane Society.
When: June4 from 7 a.m.—1 p.m.

The Lakes at Centerra residents desire an active and outdoors lifestyle year-round. New this year, Centerra has created a 10-week, informal running club for community members to join together and get moving. Routes around Equalizer Lake and Houts Reservoir will vary as The Lakes at Centerra trails offer a variety of distances to suite every runner and walker’s needs.
When: Every Wednesday from June 4—July 6, meet at 5:15 p.m.

The Loveland Parks & Recreation Foundation and its community sponsors are proud to announce the Annual “Loveland Tee Off for Kids” Golf Tournament, a fundraising event for children and families who cannot afford to participate in recreational activities offered through the City.

Loveland Community Night Out is an opportunity to strengthen neighborhoods and create awareness and partnerships between residents and the public service providers who support them. Centerra neighbors will have the opportunity to come togetherto meet Loveland police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and community partners who work to keep Loveland a healthy, vibrant and safe place to live.Residents are encouraged to bike to the event, enjoy local food trucks for dinner and onsite activities

Local poets Lynn Kincanon, Caroline Orman and Veronica Patterson invite you to celebrate the Summer Solstice with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Join us to hear local poets, musicians, and dramatists celebrate the season. Light refreshments will be served and there will be an open microphone (three minute limit per person) to share your interpretation of summer in poetry, music, or other creative performance.
