It’s 2020, and that means it’s time to live your best life at The Lakes at Centerra! As the new decade comes into focus, there’s no better place to be than part of this community that we call home. With a wealth of recreation, entertainment and natural beauty, living life to the fullest this year will be easier than ever before.

In the Club

It’s important to kick-off 2020 on the right foot as it will set the tone for the rest of the year! The Lakes makes that easy with a new walking club.

The Lakes’ Walking Club explores the amazing walking trails throughout the community. With miles of hard and soft surface trails — walkers, runners, bikers and bird watchers can always take the scenic route. High Plains Environmental Center maintains the trail system, which goes around both Houts Reservoir and Equalizer Lake as well as in between the two bodies of water. You can access the trails starting at the Lake Club from dawn to dusk.

The hub of our clubs in the community is the Lake Club. The gathering space is open to all residents and offers a great place to check out neighborhood gatherings, events, work remotely, visit with friends or simply sit by the fireplace and relax. The clubhouse is a first-come, first-serve community space; however, it can be rented for parties or events. Simply visit the facility reservation page for availability.

Wellness for the Win

While walking will surely help keep you healthy and living your best life this year, take it a step further and add Wellness Wednesday to your list of New Year’s goals for 2020. With events such as morning yoga and healthy cooking classes, you can live your best life by adding a dash of healthy living this year.

Stay tuned to the resident newsletter and social media channels each month to see what creative wellness options The Lakes has planned. One great way to be healthy this year is by growing your own food. Not sure if your green thumb is up to the task? Check out our upcoming vegetable gardening class that can help.

Led by Larimer County Master Gardener and Lakes resident, Janet Vetter, participants will learn how to grow their own vegetables in raised beds and containers. There’s nothing better than homegrown veggies to enjoy at home.

Community Events

When you purchase one of the best new homes in Loveland, you are joining more than just a neighborhood — you are joining a community. This Certified Wild community truly has something for everyone in the family including movie nights, craft events, book club, wine night and more.

If you are not sure where to start, join the Life at the Lakes Welcome Brunch where you can meet other new residents and your community team. Breakfast and refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring the kids, the more the merrier. Just check the calendar for the next brunch event!

Looking Ahead

It’s looking like a busy year here at The Lakes. A new custom homes program means new neighbors moving in!

For the first time ever, The Lakes is offering an amazing opportunity to own a true custom lakeview home. With homesites from the mid $100s, reserve now and start building in July. These unique one-of-a-kind custom homes are secluded in a small, single street enclave with less than a dozen homes and are just mere steps from Houts Reservoir and Equalizer Lake.
