Whether you’re looking for a refreshing night out or a leisurely free activity with your loved ones, Loveland has something fun for everyone. Here are our recommendations for upcoming March 2016 events near Loveland, CO.

Harlem Globetrotters

Celebrating its 90th anniversary world tour, the Harlem Globetrotters will be coming to Loveland for another entertaining journey. Witness the amazing tricks, tosses, dunks and basketball handing on the court while athletes play an intense game against one another. This event is perfect for the whole family and costs $20 a person (ages two and younger are free).

When: Mar. 13, 2 – 5 p.m.

Colorado Children’s Day

The annual event downtown provides children of all ages, as well as teens, an afternoon of fun and games. Attracting residents from both Loveland and Fort Collins, this year’s program will include free admission to the Chilson Center, Safe Kids Bike Helmet Measuring, crafts, shows, learning opportunities and much more. You can also win prizes by collecting stamps on a passport to make the afternoon one to remember.

Sharin’ O’ The Green

Put on by Partners Mentoring Youth, the 18th Annual Sharin’ O’ Green 5K race is returning to Fort Collins and is a fun daytime event for the whole family. All funding from the race helps create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth facing challenges in their personal, social and academic lives. Additionally, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be taking place in downtown Fort Collins after the race for families to stay and celebrate.

Night on the Town

Happening throughout downtown Loveland, spend a night out enjoying art openings, live music, restaurant specials and more. And if you enjoy yourself, you can even make it a routine as Night on the Town takes place the second Friday of each month.

When: Mar. 12, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Where: The Ranch Events Complex, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland, CO

Landscaping with Colorado Native Plants Conference

This first conference of its kind in Colorado joins Larimer County Fairgrounds at the Thomas M. McKee 4-H and Youth & Community Building for a unique and eye-opening experience. In partnership with the High Plains Environmental Center, this event will teach attendees how to create beautiful landscapes from the ground up with keynote speakers and professionals guiding the way. Registration cost is $90 or $45 with a valid student ID. Lunch, drinks and snacks are provided.

When: Mar. 12, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
