Summer isn’t over yet, check out community events happening right in your [soon to be] backyard!

Kids are back in school and temperatures are cooling down in Loveland, but summer isn’t over yet at The Lakes at Centerra. Offering year-round entertainment and community involvement at your back door, The Lakes at Centerra is always flourishing with family fun. To help you make the most of the tail end of summer, we’ve compiled our favorite September events and activities surrounding new homes for sale in Loveland.

 

Enjoy Local Eats at the Fairgrounds Farmer’s Market

For locally grown, farm fresh produce, goods and entertainment, be sure to stop by the Farmer’s Market at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland. Bring the kids for a bike ride and fresh lunch or snacks in the sun. For a list of vendors or information regarding volunteer opportunities, visit the City of Loveland website.

Bike for a Cause at Loveland’s Go The Distance Bike Ride

Every Thursday in September, the Pedal Club will be hosting a free community bike ride ranging from 30-50 miles. Enjoy the company of other locals who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle, while taking in the beautiful mountain backdrop and stopping at a handful of coffee shops along the way to refuel.

 

When: Every Thursday, Sept. 9—29, 9  am. start time

Walk With Compassion to End Child Poverty

Walk With Compassion, a non-profit committed to ending child poverty, is hosting a walk at Chapungu Sculpture Park. Giving you the chance to make a difference in a child’s life, this fundraiser is designed for all ages. Connect with friends, family, neighbors and community members to unite for a common purpose.  Embrace Your Artistic Side with Pastels on 5th

Pastels on 5th is a community-wide festival in which artists, businesses and downtown Loveland come together to transform 5th Street into a spectacular sidewalk gallery. Free and open to the public, this sidewalk chalk art event is designed to highlight the thriving Loveland arts community. All funds raised at the event benefit Alternatives to Violence, an organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence, sexual assault and all other violent crimes.
